Onnikka is a program optimized for smartphones that supports behavior and lifestyle change management, which has been proven to help overweight and obese people change their attitudes, thoughts, and behaviors towards a healthier direction. The result is permanent weight loss, as demonstrated by extensive clinical studies. Obesity significantly increases healthcare costs. In Finland, obesity-related costs account for 8.4% of all healthcare expenses, and the direct annual healthcare costs for obese individuals are 48% (€866) higher than for the rest of the population. According to the OECD, every euro spent on obesity prevention brings sixfold savings, and Onnikka offers ways to achieve these savings in a scalable and user-friendly manner.
